Not as free as it appeared

Downloaded the file and opened the zip. What was presented as being 100% free to use as I like, in fact was free but I could not use it as I liked because it contained extraneous advertising. I was simply looking for a smaill slideshow generator I could use on my personal web page to flip family pictures with. While it is possible this program could do that, if I decompiled and rewrote it, I understood it to be a template file that would allow me to just substitute the images in. Clearly not the case. I decided it was easier to just write my own applet with the Java IDE I already have. Also, there were some errors generated which I did not take the trouble to resolve. I believe the program was unable to locate a TXT file and I could not find any TXT file in the zip file at all. While you can't beat free, it doesn't mean much when you can't use it either.
